To apply to the program use the online form. It requires a brief (one-page) statement outlining the ways in which you hope to benefit from SLS. Also include information about your background in the arts and literature. There is a $150 application fee which can be paid online after you've filled out the application. Upon submitting the online application, mail a sample of your work (10-15 pages of poetry, no more than 25-30 double-spaced pages of prose, dramatic work, travel writing, translation, or criticism). If you prefer you may print out the form and send it in by post with your deposit and writing sample.
