Program Fees

The program fee for the two-week program is USD$1,950 and USD$2,950 for the four-week program.

The program fee covers participation in a morning and an afternoon seminar as well as workshops, airport pickup, the Jewish Lithuania: Litvak Experiences Program, orientation materials, opening and closing receptions, Vilnius walks, select museum tours, readings, lectures and various other activities.

The fee for the two-week SLS Jewish Lithuania:Litvak Experiences program is USD$1,150 and USD$1,850 for the four-week program.

Program Payments

RA deposit of $150 (applied towards the program fee) is required with the Application. The payment can be either mailed in along with required writing samples or paid online.
RA second payment of $300 is due by June 1, 2012.
RPayment in full (and deadline to apply) must be received by June 15, 2011. Any exceptions must be negotiated with the Program Director.
RPlease note: unless payments are made on schedule, we cannot guarantee a place in the program.

A limited number of partial scholarships, based on need, may be granted to those accepted into the program. Preference will be given to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in college. Students are especially encouraged to apply for traveling scholar or academic enrichment grants through their home universities. To request an SLS scholarship, please contact us for more information.

Cancellations and Refunds

RAll monies will be refunded in full to students who are not accepted into the program, or, if for any reason, the program is cancelled.
RAll payments (except $150 cancellation fee) are fully refundable if a participant withdraws from the program voluntarily by June 15, 2011.  
RA cancellation fee of $500 will be assessed for any cancellation after June 15, 2011.
RAfter June 15, only recoverable costs will be refunded, less the $500 cancellation fee.
RNo refunds will be made once the program starts, regardless of student's participation.
RThe effective date of a cancellation shall be the date that such written notice is received by the Director.

Submit a payment in any amount you specify. Use this option for any payments you choose to make to SLS in an amount different from the standard $150 application fee. (Please note: We strongly encourage you to make the bulk of your payment by checque and regular mail rather than via credit card; should you decide to pay using PayPal, we ask that you increase the payment by 3% to cover the paypal transaction fees. Thank you for understanding.)
