UPDATE: SLS ITALY returning in 2010

 It is with much reluctance and a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of SLS Italy until 2010. Given the challenges presented by the state of the global economy, we realize that we just need more time to develop the inaugural Italy program properly. We intend to do just that. In the meantime, for 2009, we will focus on SLS Lithuania (July 19 - August 4) and SLS Kenya (December 13 - 18).

 Vilnius, Lithuania, is our next stop; we very much look forward to July, to the unveiling of that important new SLS venture, in the heart of Eastern-to-Central Europe, the former Soviet Republic -- a stunningly lovely and lively city where the literary contexts, cultural vistas and histories are inseparable intermingled: Lithuanian and Polish, Jewish and Russian. Then, in 2010, we'll venture into Italy and back to St. Petersburg, Russia. We are also planning an SLS Montreal program in 2010.

 We wish each and every one of you the best of luck in all of your literary endeavours, and we hope to see some of you, in the weeks and months and years ahead, as participants in the SLS programs!

Updates March 2009

 In 2010 the SLS Literary Seminars welcomes its latest seminar country, Italy! The program will consist of two weeks of literary workshops in the breathtaking eastern coast of Italy.
